The Bahá’í community, established in Ghana in 1951, today includes more than 100 communities and over 50 local Bahá’í administrative councils, called Local Spiritual Assemblies. The community holds open devotional gatherings, children’s classes and study circles on spiritual topics.

Women and men have been and will always be equal in the sight of God.

A Bahá’í-inspired development organization, the Olinga Foundation for Human Development, carries out a program of literacy and moral education in rural communities in two districts of Ghana.
